Who is Jesus?

Man has always been curious about his beginnings, reason for existence and purpose in life. People turn to philosophy, religion, science and every other source to quench the thirst for this undying reasoning. And people ask the question: does the Bible have the answers? The Bible provides insight into the origin, reason for existence and destiny of humanity. And people could agree or disagree with this. Yet, the greater focus of the Bible is how a person can have a real understanding of and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, the cornerstone of humanity around whom history has been divided into A.D. and B.C., who has and continues to marvel individuals, communities and nations. Jesus Christ is a reality beyond human understanding and He reveals Himself to those who seek Him. He gives peace, hope and purpose in life like no other leader ever to tread on Earth.

How does He care for you?

Jesus Christ called the ordinary people of His time to follow Him to a life full of meaning and value. And the Bible testifies that this love of Jesus was reciprocated through the laying down of their own lives by His followers. There is a huge multitude of witnesses who have testified how Jesus Christ has revealed Himself in different ways through dreams, visions and through the power of His Word. And the Good News is this: He is just a prayer away. In the Bible, Jesus has said, ‘Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in’. Further, He says, ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light’. And that is what Jesus gives you – peace as none and nothing gives, joy that extends beyond this life and relationship that is real and without hidden motives.
